From there, it instantly maps a set of sounds across your keyboard—randomly. No need to dig through folders. Just hit keys and see what happens.

Even better: every time you hit Load Samples, it gives you another random set from your library.

It’s crate digging without the mess—and that’s just the beginning.

🧠 Feature 1: Creative Modes That Actually Make Sense

The Landr Sampler has three main ways to interact with your samples:

Chromatic Mode – Best for playing one-shots like bass or synths

Slice Mode – Great for loops you want to chop into pieces

Play Mode – Ideal for textures or longer sounds

In my demo, I took a loop from my sample folder, threw it into Slice Mode, set it to 16 slices, and I had something playable within seconds.

Then I flipped on Stretch Mode so it would lock to my project’s BPM—no more warping by hand.

Say you’ve loaded a loop and want to find supporting sounds (like keys or brass) that actually fit.

The advanced filters let you:

• Filter by category (e.g. hi-hats, snares, bass)

• Filter by favorites, folders, or packs

🥁 Building a Full Beat (with Just the Sampler)

Here’s how I used only the Landr Sampler to build a full beat:

• Melodic loop – sliced and stretched

• Brass layer – added with filtering and key lock

• Hi-hats – one long sample note, filtered

• Snares – layered two for extra punch

• Kick – short, snappy one-shot

• Bassline – played in chromatic mode and tuned

Everything came from different instances of the same plugin. And yes, it all stayed locked to the BPM automatically.

⚠️ A Few Limitations

Here’s what I missed:

• No glide/pitch bend

• No mono switch in chromatic mode

• Can’t select multiple keys for playback mode at once

That said, this plugin isn’t meant to do everything—it’s meant to get you started fast. And it delivers on that promise.

💡 The Big Idea: Music First, Menus Later

The Landr Sampler doesn’t try to compete with Kontakt or Falcon.
